Why the materials actually matter We use high-purity quartz glass because it doesn’t warp when things get scorching. Plus, there’s the halogen cycle. Basically, it cleans the inside of the bulb as it works, pushing evaporated tungsten back onto the filament. That’s why these last way longer than the basic bulbs you’d find anywhere else. As for the fit, we use R7s and SK15 bases. They’re designed to be drop-in replacements for most industrial ovens. They snap in tight, which means no sparking or overheating at the terminals. Simple.
